Born and raised in Humboldt County, Tracy brings a deep-rooted understanding of the local community that only comes from living and working here her entire life. From 1995 to 2025, Tracy served as a Realtor Associate with Forbes & Associates in McKinleyville. When her mentor and broker, Sue Forbes, retired in 2016, Tracy stepped up—becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker and continuing the Forbes legacy by establishing her own boutique real estate firm: Forbes & Associates – Tracy Helarad Shumard.

Over the course of 32 successful years with Forbes & Associates, Tracy built a reputation as one of the top real estate professionals in the area. Her commitment to client service, loyalty to high standards, and constant research of market trends and property values ensure that every client receives the best possible experience in buying or selling a home.
