Suzy was born and raised in Eureka, as was her mother and grandmother. She is a graduate of Eureka High and earned her AA degree from College of the Redwoods and her BS degree in Business Administration from Humboldt State University. Suzy worked for PG&E for almost 10 years before deciding to become a stay at home Mom to raise her daughter Brooke. She and her husband Forrest also own and operate a commercial fishing boat. As a family, they enjoy spending time at their summer home at Ruth Lake. Suzy enjoys being actively involved in the community and participates on various committees including the Glen Paul Boosters Club, Toys for Kids, and her daughter’s school.
